Spicy Roasted Edamame
Good Morning! There is so much to be done before this weekend.We are having a little get together for Dougie's 30th birthday and I need to get the house in order starting with the nursery. Best of all, Dougie's brother Grant and his wife Juliana are coming to stay and I cannot wait to see them. It is going to be a very fun weekend!
Since the next few days are filled with cleaning, organizing & errands I need a delicious snack to keep me going. Roasted edamame are the perfect on-the-go treat since they are packed with protein to keep me full.
Spicy Roasted Edamame
1lb edamame, shelled, rinsed
1tbsp cayenne pepper
1tbsp black pepper
1tbsp red pepper flakes
1tbsp sea salt
1tbsp garlic powder
2tbsp olive oil
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a small bowl, mix together all the ingredients above.
3. On a baking sheet spread out the edamame so non are on top of each other.
4. Place in the oven and cook for 20 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
6. Serve warm or cool.
