My passion to create started at a young age. Cooking and food where my first love and something I was exposed to at a young age by my mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother all notorious, amazing cooks with a nack for entertaining with ease.
As a teen I suffered from anxiety which lead me to yoga, meditation and energy healing techniques to cope with the everyday stresses of life. In 2013, I completed my 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training counrse at Flow Yoga Center in DC. In 2014 I became certified in Rath Bath Ceremony body healing technique an ancient form of aroma therapy combined with stones, intended to rebalance the physical through affecting the nervous system with plant oils, aromas, and healing stones of various temperatures.
After high school I attended Lorenzo de' Medici School where I studied culinary arts, photography, fashion design and enology (the art of wine making) which furthered my love for food and ignited my passion for the arts.
I’m an artist with a Fine Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, where I met my husband and currently live in Connecticut with my 2 kids, husband and sheepadoodle, Ferguson.
Lib Free Living is where I create easy accessible recipes, art, talk fashion & fitness, my love for yoga, essential oils, raise small children, work full-time and try to have some fun in between.
I’m a cook, artist, Ironman athlete, tennis enthusiast, mother, wife, yogi, gardener, and sales leader. Basically a modern woman with several interests making it work.
